TITEBOND PVC TRIM ADHESIVE AND SEALANT
Titebond Ultimate PVC Trim Adhesive and Sealant is a one-component, advanced polymer adhesive sealant designed for a variety of PVC trim, moulding, deck railing and beadboard installations. It adheres and seals PVC trim to virtually any material including wood, metal, masonry, other PVC trim and more. Ultimate PVC Trim is white in color to match trim boards, can be applied in extreme weather conditions and provides a flexible, durable bond as well as a weather-tight seal. This all-in-one adhesive sealant is designed to enhance the quality of PVC installations while decreasing the use of multiple products, leading to more efficient installations.<br> <Strong>Ultimate Technology. Ultimate Results.</strong><br> PVC Trim Adhesive and Sealant has the ability to be a 2 in 1 product due to its advanced adhesive technology. The product uses an advanced polymer that is 98% solids, allowing it to be extruded in extreme temperatures as low as 0°F. It also exhibits more flexibility than other construction adhesives using polyurethane, latex and solvent based technologies. The increased flexibility allows the adhesive to expand and contract with the PVC, decreasing the chance of product failure and customer callbacks. PVC is more flexible than wood. This adhesive will flex with the PVC, not against it. Increased flexibility also allows the product to function as a premium sealant, with 50% joint movement capability and superior weather resistance.

Application Guidelines
- Application Temperature: Above 0°F (-18°C)
- Preparation: 1. Remove nozzle and cut tip of nub.
2. Puncture foil seal and screw nozzle back onto cartridge.
3. Cut tip on slant for 1/4’’ to 3/8’’ bead and place in cartridge gun. - Application - For Adhering: 1. Surfaces must be clean and free of any material that may prevent adequate adhesion.
2. Apply the adhesive to the PVC board to be installed in either a continuous or spot bead.
3. Adhere materials within 10-20 minutes based on environmental conditions.
4. Press surfaces firmly together with a slight twisting motion.
Note: For longer runs of PVC trim and beadboard, adhering PVC to sub fascia is recommended to assist in expansion and contraction of the PVC. - Application - For Sealing: 1. Surfaces must be clean and free of any material that may prevent adequate adhesion.
2. Force sealant into clean joint. Always apply sealant in bead form.
3. To ensure neat sealant lines, mask areas adjacent to joints. Once sealant is dry to the touch and does not transfer, remove masking tape.
Note: Ensure that initial joint width can accommodate expected substrate movement (±50% movement capability). - Cleanup: Tools and adhesive may be cleaned with acetone or isopropyl alcohol when uncured. Follow solvent vendor’s precautions. Once cured, adhesive must be scraped from surface.
- Painting: Sealant is intended for exterior use. If used indoors, sealant may need to be painted. In most cases, painting may occur one hour after application with a high-quality acrylic, water-based (latex) paint that does not contain plasticizer. For other paint types, a compatibility test is recommended.

Limitations
Air, adhesive and surface temperature should be above 0°F. Not recommended for continuous submersion or use below the waterline. When using on non-porous substrates, mist with water to speed curing.
