Application Guidelines

Application Temperature: 0°F to 100°F
Service Temperature Range: -20°F to 120°F
Working Time: Approximately 20 minutes for a 1/4” bead.
Prep: Surfaces must be clean and free of any material that may prevent adequate adhesion.
Application: Cut tip on slant for 1/4” to 3/8” bead. Puncture inner seal and place in cartridge gun. Apply adhesive to one of the surfaces in either a continuous or spot bead. Wet blocks must dry within 48 hours for adhesive to adhere properly. Retaining Wall Caps: Apply 1/4” to 3/8” bead around the perimeter of the underlying block 2” from edge. Press firmly in place to ensure adequate adhesive contact. Landscape Blocks: Apply two 1/4” beads of adhesive, front and back on each block. Press firmly in place to ensure adequate adhesive contact. Apply blocks to adhesive within 20 minutes when temperature is 70°F. If temperature is above 70°F, reduce time to 10 minutes or less. Allow at least 48 to 72 hours before foot traffic and 5 to 7 days for heavy traffic.
Cleanup: Tools and adhesive may be cleaned with acetone or mineral spirits. Follow solvent vendor’s precautions.

Limitations

Not designed for continuous submersion. Vertical applications must be braced for at least 3 days. When creating structures higher than 3 feet, consult block manufacturer for specific instructions. One surface must be porous. For use on plastics, contact Technical Service.
