TITEBOND FOAM CLEANER

Titebond Foam Cleaner is an acetone-based formula designed to clean up Titebond foam adhesives and sealants. It is a spray solvent formulated to dissolve uncured foam and should not be used on surfaces that are not solvent or acetone resistant. The Cleaner can also be attached to the Titebond Foam Dispensing Gun to flush the gun and maintain proper operation.

Application Guidelines

  • Application Temperature: 65 to 80°F (18 to 27°C)
  • For General Cleaning:
    1. Wear protective glasses or goggles, nitrile gloves and clothing that protects againstdermal exposure. Use only in a well-ventilated area.
    2. Insert red spray activator into the valve stem of the can. Do not use in horizontal position.
    3. With valve end of can down, slowly press trigger to dispense cleaner.
  • For Dispensing Gun Cleaning:
    1. Always clean the basket adapter and other external parts thoroughly with Titebond Foam Cleaner before attaching a fresh can of foam adhesive or sealant. Flush dispensing gun with cleaner after every 10-20 cans of foam adhesive or sealant.
    2. The dispensing gun MUST be stored with a pressurized can attached. For best results store Dispensing Gun with a fresh can of foam adhesive or sealant.
    3. Hold red spray activator aside while screwing cleaner can into basket adapter.
    4. Screw can until it will go no further. DO NOT overtighten.
    5. Slowly pull the dispensing gun trigger until solvent extrudes from the gun. Release the gun trigger and let solvent soak in unit for one to two minutes.
    6. Pull gun trigger and dispense solvent into suitable container (box, can, etc.).
    7. Repeat procedure until only clear solvent appears from nozzle.

Call a POISON CENTER or doctor if you feel unwell. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice or attention. Protect from sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 122°F/50°C. Store in a well-ventilated place. Keep container tightly closed. Dispose of contents and container in accordance with all local, regional, national and international regulations. FIRE: Use water spray (fog), dry chemical, or CO2.
